The fan is working great. In fact, I’m thinking about possibly running a side business that JUST installs these fans. The installation was pretty easy. Finding the best location for everything was probably the most difficult part.
I’m an HVAC mechanic by trade so this install was easy for me. Would be an easy install for handy people.
As far as performance goes:
*It’s so quiet on low speed we accidentally left it on. I turned my home into an ice box the other day hahaha. It was 53 degrees in the house that morning.
*Literally right now it’s 1:40 PM 88 degrees outside. It’s 69 degrees up stairs and 68 degrees downstairs. We’ve definitely reduced mechanical A/C run time AKA power consumption.
*I experience a brief moment of joy when I hear someone’s A/C kick on, especially at night when I’m “free cooling”.
I’m kind of a nerd for this stuff so I’m always happy to discuss the product and anything else. I’m hoping to trend my power bill vs. last year. We’ve only had one billing period since installation.
